Why this collection?

Sukkot invites us to dwell within a temporary structure shaped by beauty, memory, hospitality and divine space. The ilanot in this collection bring a distinctive visual presence into that setting. One particularly meaningful connection concerns the seven Ushpizin. In classical ilanot, the names of the seven holy guests appear within the sefirotic medallions from Hesed through Malkhut. The Ushpizin are arranged according to the sefirotic structure of the ilan, rather than their order of appearance in the Torah. Displayed in the Sukkah, these intricate, centuries-old diagrams add another layer of meaning to the mitzvah of dwelling there and welcoming the Ushpizin.

Made for the Sukkah

• Smooth-feel polyester: Printed on mid-weight, 150 GSM polyester with a fabric feel distinct from vinyl or PVC banners.
• Rich, permanent printing: High-quality, eco-sensitive inks bond with the fibers for vibrant detail and resistance to water, mold and fading from UV exposure.
• Four corner grommets: Each tapestry has four sturdy, rust-proof grommets—one in each corner. Hang with string, standard ties or suitable bungee loops, using even tension.
• Washable and reusable: Machine-washable without fading and designed for use across future Sukkot seasons. Final care instructions are included with every order.

The fabric is rated for up to two years of continuous outdoor exposure. Actual longevity depends on weather, handling, washing and storage.
